We are beyond excited to shine a spotlight on WACVA – AWU Pittsburgh Keystone Chapter 120, an organization whose dedication to women veterans is nothing short of inspiring! This incredible group isn’t just supporting Robin’s Home – they’re making magic happen this holiday season by hosting our Christmas party!
We had the pleasure of speaking with Laurie, Publicity Director of Chapter 120, who shared some amazing insights into the organization’s history and their connection to Robin’s Home. Did you know that WACVA – AWU is the only Congressionally designated women’s veteran organization in the U.S.? This prestigious honor recognizes the vital contributions of women in the Armed Forces.
Laurie explained how Chapter 120 decided to “adopt” Robin’s Home as part of their mission to support female veterans and their families. “Mary Chitwood has done, and continues to do, an amazing job with Robin’s Home. I can’t say enough about her drive and compassion, and the effort she puts into this outstanding project. What an achievement!” Laurie shared with us.
It’s clear that WACVA – AWU is more than just a partner – they’re a part of the Robin’s Home family. Their commitment to making a difference in the lives of our veterans is truly heartwarming, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their support.
Please join us in thanking WACVA – AWU Pittsburgh Keystone Chapter 120 for their generosity, their dedication, and for helping us spread so much holiday cheer! Here’s to many more years of collaboration and impact together!
