Registration Deadline is May 8th

On June 11, 2023 the Women Veterans Committee of American Legion Post 641 will be hosting a dinner to show appreciation for the women veterans of our area, and in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act of 1948. This act was signed by President Truman on June 12, 1948, granting women the right to serve as permanent, regular of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps and the recently formed Air Force.

Appetizers at 12 PM- 1 PM

Cash bar available – no charge for Female veterans
ALL PROCEEDS FROM CASH BAR BENEFITS ROBINS HOME

Guest Speakers: 1 PM – 2 PM
Chaplain Kurt Larson- opening prayer
Commander Gerry States – opening statements.
Jean Lemieux – History of female veterans
Jeannie Murray – American Legion Auxiliary Unit 641 President
Nancy Hoffman– Gold Star Mother
Mary Chitwood– Robin’s Home- discusses services for homeless female veterans.
GRACE by Chaplain Kurt Larson

Complimentary Dinner – 2 PM – 4 PM (Female Veterans may bring one guest)

5:00 PM Closing prayer

Doors open at 12 PM and end at 5 PM
