Did you know there are NO dedicated supportive housing agencies to assist female homeless veterans in Butler County? Sadly this includes surrounding counties as well. Connect, Inc., operating through Southwestern Pennsylvania Human Services, Inc. is setting out to change that with Robin’s Home.

Thanks to a generous local donor, a home has been purchased in Butler which will allow the intake of female veterans and their children needing assistance. Robin’s Home will not only provide supportive housing, but also wrap around services through such organizations as Catholic Charities, VOICe, VA Butler, and Grace Youth and Family Services.

The goal is to open the home in July, but there is lots of work to be done before then. This Rock Done Right Tour Stop is hoping to raise significant money to help Robin’s Home open on time, and your help is needed. Please consider attending. It is FREE to stop in on May 18 from 5-11p and check out the music, the raffles, jump in on a 50/50, or just make a donation. Kids and families are welcome. Your time, whether 15 minutes or the whole night, and your generous donation, whether $5 or more, will make a huge difference.
