At Robin’s Home, we are grateful for community collaborations that bring valuable support to the veterans we serve. This spring, we were proud to host the Hope is Dope program at the Veterans H.E.A.R.T. Resource Center.
The program, created and led by Steve Treu, offers a science-based approach to mental health, recovery, and personal growth. It began on May 20 and was made possible through the outreach of Ken Clowes, community initiatives assistant at Butler County Community College (BC3). Ken not only helped bring the program to Robin’s Home but also co-facilitated the sessions alongside Steve.
“We honor the veterans who served our country,” Clowes shared. “We are extremely humbled and proud to be able to give something back to them—be it hope, inspiration or the tools to recover from substance use or mental health issues.”
We thank Steve Treu for leading the program, Ken Clowes for his initiative and involvement, and BC3 for supporting efforts that uplift veterans in our community.
