ROBIN’S HOME THRIFT STORE AND DONATION CENTER ANNOUNCES CLOSURE AND THE OPENING OF VETERANS RESOURCE

BUTLER, PA — January 26, 2024 — After a year of dedicated service to the community, Robin’s Home Thrift Store and Donation Center regretfully announces its closure. The decision to close the store was not taken lightly, and we want to express our gratitude to our loyal customers, donors, and the Butler community for their unwavering support over the years.

Despite the closure of Robin’s Home Thrift Store and Donation Center, our commitment to serving veterans in our community remains strong. We are excited to announce the opening of a new venture that will continue our mission of supporting those in need. Introducing the Veterans Resource Center, a dedicated space to serve veterans in our community.Details of the Veterans Resource Center:

  • Location: 357 North Main Street, Butler, PA 16001
  • Mission: “Our mission is to honor and support our nation’s veterans by providing a comprehensive and inclusive resource center. We strive to create a welcoming and empowering environment that assists veterans by offering a range of services including education, employment assistance, healthcare advocacy, computer lab, food bank, clothing, household goods, weekly support groups, and community engagement. Through collaboration and a commitment to excellence, we aim to empower veterans to achieve their fullest potential.”
  • Opening Date: The Veterans Resource Center is scheduled to open its doors in March 2024.
    We are grateful for the opportunity to transition our efforts to a new initiative that aligns with our values and commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals, especially those who have served our country.
